FEAR STREET: The Stepbrother
There is a LOT of news with FEAR STREET now coming out. First off, don’t go and run out to the bookstore looking for that prized volume in your FEAR STREET collection entitled THE STEPBROTHER. It won’t be out until next month. This will be the first tine since like 1991 when an FS book didn’t come out one month. As soon as I get my copy, I will post images and a review.
"The Chillogy: Part 3" Review! Michael Friedman sent us this review of "The Chillogy, Part 3:"
I give the episode a 7 out of 10. it was better then Part 2, the Special
Effects were making the vacum cleaner suck the town. I thought that The
Chillogy Trilogy would be with more plot in it, and not just every part
another kids is being sucked in, again, the beginning was funny, like in
almost every other Chillogy episode, but turned out to be bad in the end,
the ending with Karl was expected.

More Assorted "Stuff..."
- Greg Pesce of "Dimension X" that Night of the Living Dummy is also on video in New Jersey.
- We checked in with GB TV Publicity yesterday...They're sending us some new slides from upcoming shows! They also told us that there won't be any new episodes until "Bride of the Living Dummy" on Feb. 14th.
Updates: NotLDIII on Video, and Tim's Bio
- Why was "It Came From New Jersey" so short? Tim explained to us that "Since we needed better paper to
print the art work on, we could only have half as many pages." He told us that is cost twice as much for the higher-quality paper. "The hardest part was making it short enough to fit," according to him. Tim said that they tried to make the book the same size as a normal GB - and cost the same. The size was the variable that lost. :-)
Tim posted his thoughts on IT CAME FROM NEW JERSEY! at Amazon.com one January 18, 1998. Here they are:
My Dream Come True!
Every student of the arts, whether a writer, musician, or artist, dreams of working on a project that will be enjoyed by thousands of people. Goosebumps enabled a small town guy to entertain millions of kids. I'm grateful to all who were involved in helping this book to be published. And, I'm thrilled that so many Goosebumps fans have already expressed their enjoyment in reading it and seeing how I created the covers. Read On

I agree with you about how his alien stories weren't that great. But one
thing I think is strange is how this two part series is going to be part of
the regular GB 2000 series. Normally, like with the FEAR STREET books, the
mini seires books are counted sepreraly from the rest of the series. I
just think R.L. is desperate to get the spines on the GB 2000 books reading
#50 or higher as soon a possible.
- Greg Pesce, in response's to Chris's article. (Originally published @ TheBumps.com
R.L.’s news from L.A. font>
This week, R.L. Stine said that the FS movie would probably be based on one of his "summer" books . . . most probably PARTY SUMMER or THE DEAD LIFEGUARD. Also, he spoke with Tim Burton and he said that he is interviewing writers for the prized job of writing the GB movie script. They still are a little sketchy on what they are doing with the GB movie. Also, Ultimate GB is the top rated kid’s television show. < br>
Today's Trivia! Yesterday's Trivia Question: Who IS Mary-Ellen? The answer: Who is Eddie Simkin? The answer: The boy whose birthday party was ruined by the dummies. The winners: Michael Friedman, Stephen Braid, Grant Geiger, and Lehozeher. Today's Trivia: What does the one-liner on the cover of GB 2000 #2 say?
Good luck! Use the form below to answer the trivia question, or you can send it via e-mail. No more than one entry per person, please, and it must be sent from www.Fortunecity.com/Tattoine/Tolkien/109 - not the old domain.
Sighting: NotLD3 Video in California
Jeremy Collins told "Dimension X" yesterday that "Night of the Living Dummy III" is out on video in Palmdale, California. He doesn't know why it is out early where he lives - we don't have any other sightings yet. The video also features clips from the "Bride of the Living Dummy" TV episode - 1 minute and 45 seconds worth to be exact, according to Jeremy. He told us that the clip had "Slappy saying the normal nasty stuff...It shows the girl
talking to the guy that made Slappy and Slappy running around saying 'where is my bride?' The
little sister says 'Mary Ellen won't let me leave without her...' That's pretty much it." (bs)
